I sooooooooo want to do this!

I really don't think Brian will go for it.. but seriously, when I saw this I thought someone had taken a picture of MY kitchen!

Ths is my kitchen....(picture from when we moved, excuse the mess)

How awesome is it!! And I was even thinking green (Benjamin Moore 488 Mountain Lane).....a girl can dream can't she??

If you're curious, here's more details on how they did it, exactly. I'm not giving up yet... filing this in the "to do someday" file.

    in answer to your question, we didn't have the smallist bit of guilt for painting. we didn't like the color or finish of the cupboards. they just looked SO 80's! which makes sense b/c the house was built in 85.

    we've had it for several months now and it just looks so much more fresh and contemporary. we'd do it again in a heartbeat.

    also, i'd highly recommend beadboard as a finishing touch. I think it's our favorite part and was so, so easy. Just had the pieces cut at the store, glued/nailed them into place, and painted over them. worth it!

    and yes, your kitchen looks remarkably similar to ours! funny.
